The fragmented glass on the top was made by dropping the hot glass into water instead of annealing it. The problem is the dish doesn't keep well - the noodles get too soggy. It is for a Vietnamese dish with a nest-like mass of crispy noodles that soften as they are saturated with a thick brown sauce. I made this set of tableware for the second challenge on Blown Away.
